"Dusty" Freeman was invovled in a four wheeler accident resulting in his passing away at the age of 24. Dusty's birthday would have been on the 28th of October. His father is Charles Freeman, of Zebulon, NC. He is a NCBA member. His brother, Charles M. Freeman, V, has requested that the 2007 Butner Hunt be dedicated in the memory of his brother, Dusty Freeman. On September 30, 2007, the NCBA Executive and Associate Council voted to do this.

My name is Charles Freeman. My dad is an active member of the North Carolina Bowhunters Association. I have a request to the association about the upcoming Butner Hunt. A little over five years ago, I was able to locate my younger brother that had moved away with him mother about 18 years ago. My dad hadn't seen my brother in about 10 years. After we had our family reunion, we started to hunt in NC with dad. On July 3rd, Dusty, my little brother, was involved in a four wheeler accident resulting him passing away at the age of 24. I was able to attend a hunt about 3 years ago, but since then, I've been chasing hurricanes (my job), have kept me from enjoying this with my dad. I would like to know if there is any way to have this hunt named after my brother, Dusty R. Freeman, in memory of him? (NOTE: The NCBA EC/AC met on September 30, 2007 and voted to dedicate this year's hunt to the memory of Dustin R. Freeman.)
