Sonya Lee Graham

Sonya Lee Graham, 46, of Salisbury, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012.

Born Nov. 28, 1965, in Salisbury, she was the daughter of Jackie Beacham Graham of the home and the late Sie Chenault "Buddy" Graham.  "Buddy" Graham was the 2nd person inducted into the "NCBA Bowhunter Hall of Fame" in 1994.

Sonya was educated in the Rowan County schools and graduated from East Rowan High School, Class of 1984. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 1988.

She was co-owner and operator with her twin sister of S&S Graham Archery for 25 years and for the past 12 years was a taxidermist. 

Sonya was of the Baptist faith, and the business was her life. She was an expert target shooter, that she learned from her father, and loved animals.

Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother, are her twin sister, Sionna "Sie" Graham of the home; and half-brother, Michael Brooks of Granite Quarry.
